About Pawn Cashing
Monthly interest rate:
2% to maximum 7%
Repayment deadline: the day to 3 months.
*Possible to extend the term (up to 3 years) by paying a pawn fee.
We are a familiar pawn shop that you can use safely and without any difficulty.
The pawn culture began in the Kamakura period (1185-1333) and has long been a part of the daily life of the common people as a familiar form of finance. It is a simple system that allows you to borrow money using items as mortgage. When you're in a pinch, feel free to use the system. If you pay the borrowed money and the pawn fee, the item will be returned to you. If the item is no longer needed or if you cannot pay back the money, the transaction will be terminated as long as you do not take the item back.
(Ex.) If you pawn an item worth 100,000 yen (One month's pawn fee is 5%).
For example, if you pawn on April 1,
① If you come to take your item back on April 12th,
since it is within half a month, the pawn fee will be 2,500 yen (2.5%).
② If you come to take your item back on April 30th,
since it is within one month, the pawn fee will be 5,000 yen.
③ If you came to take your item back on May 10th (rounded down),
it is 1 month and 10 days, so 5,000 yen x (1+10/31) = 6,610 yen.

With a card-shaped pawn ticket
The first a month will be calculated as half month (Half Moon Service) or one month.Payments over one month are calculated based on the number of months and days elapsed (daily rate).*However, if the amount is less than 20,000 yen, it will be calculated on a monthly basis (Full Moon) as in the past.*For extensions, please pay the pawn fee by the month.*The daily rate calculation will be calculated based on the day without taking regular holidays into account.

What is the Half Moon System?
The conventional method of calculating pawn fee is basically calculated on a monthly basis, and if even one day passes, the next month's pawn fee will be incurred.
For example, the amount will be the same whether you borrowed money for 32 days or 62 days.
At Masuya pawnshop, we have decided to abandon the old-style method of calculation and adopt a method that is adapted to the modern age (the present). Take advantage of our Half Moon System and daily calculations.

1. The maximum period of custody is 3 months from the date of contract.
It can be extended for your convenience. *The term can be extended for a number of months upon payment of a pledge fee.
2. Pawn fee refers to the pawn shop's interest as defined by the Pawnbroker Business Act. The pawn fee also includes product management and storage fees.
Monthly interest rate: 2% to maximum 7% (annual interest rate: 24% to maximum 84%)
The maximum interest rate under the Pawnshop Business Act is 109.5%.
At our store, if the amount is 50,000 yen or less, it is 7%.
*For orders over 20,000 yen, half-month service is available only for the first month only.
*The fee (Full Moon calculation) is calculated based on the number of months and days that have passed.
(Example) If you sign a contract on July 8th, August 18th will be 1 month and 10 days.
3. Ex.) If you pawn a watch worth 20,000 yen and it is repaid within one month, the principal amount will be 20,000 yen.
(7% x 1 month) = 21,400 yen.

→ 3% monthly interest.
500,000 yen or more
→ Monthly interest rate 3.5%.
200,000 yen or more
→ 4% monthly interest rate.
100,000 yen or more
